From Waste to Wearable Art.
Kabaru Collections was founded by Janet Timbol Muñoz — a woman who believed
that fashion could be a force for good. In a world drowning in textile waste, she saw
possibility where others saw scraps.
Using upcycled katsa (flour sacks) and retaso (fabric scraps), Janet and her artisans
from Pampanga transform discarded materials into timeless pieces — each one carrying
the spirit of Filipino culture and the hands that made it.
